Hahahahaha. A bunch of MDM-Geräte starten nicht mehr sauber. Der Hersteller hatte damals auf Windows Mobile gesetzt und ein eigenes, "sicheres" Applikations-Ökosystem gebaut. Natürlich mit Sandboxing, App-Exit-nur-mit-PIN und digitalen Signaturen. Letztere sind jetzt ausgelaufen. Updates gibt es nur, wenn man laufenden Wartungsvertrag hat (nie gesehen, unsure if still available). Workaround: Man könne ja die Uhr umstellen und so arbeiten, bis man ein neueres Modell mit Vertrag gekauft hat.

Dear developers. If I open your app I want to do exactly this. Open. Your. Software. Not additionally launch a browser, which decides to open not only your "thanks for choosing us" page, but also restores over 9000 tabs from a previous session, causing the OOM-killer to kill your app. I mean, sure, I get spared your "improved" design with dozens of missing Add-Ins for a few more minutes, but, just no.
