I just read one "of these" comments: "There are only 2 sexes. There are XX and XY chromosomes. What does binary mean? (two)."

Sounds to me like
"There are only 2 states in computers, 1s and 0s. There are HIGH and LOW levels. What does binary mean? (two)."

While this might be true for many cases, it's an oversimplification. In reality, some signals carry more than two states. Without this multilevel signaling, modern computers would not function. Just like our society would not work without all the non-binary people who contribute just like everyone else.

You might not like the added complexity, you might not understand what the hell is going on, but you should damn well accept that these people exists, because without them, you would be f…ed.
